In <a title=\"Last night at 2:17 am every child from Mrs. Gandy's class woke up, got out of bed, went downstairs, opened the front door, walked into the dark ...and they never came back.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt26581740\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Weapons<\/a>, a whole classroom of kids just up and run away from home, on the same night, at the same time. As you can imagine, everyone in town finds this event to have been very wtf. If you are anything like them, you are wondering: how did this happen? <em>Why<\/em> did this happen? If you are anything like humans in general, you are also wondering: who can we blame?<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, that&#8217;s it. That&#8217;s the movie. If you want to know what happens next, or if you liked <em>Barbarian<\/em>, then you definitely want to watch this movie. <em>Barbarian<\/em> is a better horror movie, but <em>Weapons<\/em> is I think closer to mystery than pure horror in the first place, which makes a difference in comparing them. Either way, they are structured similarly, and I like to think they are set in the same universe of Zach Cregger&#8217;s mind, a universe in which I&#8217;m excited to see what comes next.<\/p>\n<p>[1] I just saw that again, earlier in the weekend.
